This is the GEMINI series, a new 22 kilowatt (kW) dual socket charger that Raedian will present at the Munich Fair from June 19 to 21.
This Alternating Current (AC) equipment, made of high-resistance aluminum and tempered glass.
It includes an 8-inch screen that allows you to view the charging status and even offers the possibility of showing advertising for the customer who installs it.
“It is a model for commercial use, ideal for public charging stations,” says Eduardo Torres Martin, Iberia Sales Manager of the firm, to Mobility Portal España.
This is possible thanks to its durability and weather resistance, allowing it to be installed in any location.
What audience is it specifically aimed at?
Mainly for public use, such as in community garages, supermarkets and other similar places.
The device supports paying with a credit card, debit card or contactless mobile wallet.
Additionally, it has optional PIN entry to comply with the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR).
Not only this, but it is also manageable through its NEBULA platform, which allows companies to manage all charger services.
“We always look for quality and design. The first is reflected in the materials with which it is manufactured, while the second tries to offer a point of distinction with the rest of the competition,” explains Torres Martin.
And this is not the only release.
By the end of the year, Raedian plans to add direct current (DC) fast chargers with capacities of approximately 180 kW to its catalog for the Spanish market, which will allow a car to be “refueled” in an estimated time of between 20 and 40 minutes.
“They have already begun to show us the first designs and final sketches of what the equipment will be like,” reveals the Iberia Sales Manager.
In this sense, it is worth noting that Raedian, a company that already has more than 12 years of experience, has begun its expansion throughout Europe, having been present in Spain for more than a year.
Both the design and manufacturing of electric vehicle chargers are carried out in China.
“We are beginning to establish ourselves in Europe, with a presence in France, the Netherlands and Germany,” says Torres Martin.
While in Spain, Raedian covers the entire national territory.
“We differentiate ourselves from the competition by our quality, with a design that we consider completely different and by a range that currently ranges from 7 kW to 22 kW,” he emphasizes.
One of its star chargers is the NORA, a smart charging device for the home that includes a CEE (International Commission of Electrotechnics) adapter, which allows its installation in any location with any electrical supply capacity and corresponding outlet.
One feature that stands out is that it is portable.
This allows the driver of the vehicle to take it with them to a rural house or second residence, ensuring that the car never runs out of battery, regardless of its location.
“Its compact design allows it to be easily integrated into a retailer’s shelves, since it is similar to a briefcase, making it an essential product in a rapidly growing market,” says the representative of the firm.
The user has full control of their wallbox through the RAEDIAN app, allowing them to flexibly configure the charging power to ensure safety and prevent overloads.
In this framework, the Iberia Sales Manager maintains:
“We have a range that all installers and customers are liking, thanks to its innovative and elegant design, which is important.”
The company follows a comprehensive approach that covers the entire spectrum from research and development (R&D) to manufacturing.
To date, it has successfully shipped and deployed over one million units worldwide in the electric vehicle charging sector.
