Throughout the programme, the mission of Horizon Programmes to foster transformative advancements in mobility, both in urban and rural areas, will be addressed.

Participants will discuss how these innovations are reshaping communities and promoting sustainable growth.

Additionally, the role of data, artificial intelligence, and digital twin technology in revolutionising mobility planning will be analysed, along with key factors influencing investments in sustainable mobility, led by private equity and venture capital experts.

The innovation track will receive valuable support from Bable and the Fraunhofer Institute, who will contribute their expertise in the integration of smart infrastructures and renewable energies.

The event will also feature the awards ceremony hosted by the Las Rozas City Council and presentations from GMC 2024’s TOP INNOVATOR, Celering.

The second day will focus on the role of executive talent as a driving force behind change, innovation, and security in this constantly evolving sector.

With support from Board & Leaders, this section will define the strategic topics on the agenda for senior executives in the sector.

Sessions will provide insights into leadership and the skills needed to navigate the complexities of this emerging ecosystem.

To conclude, the “Cyber Morning” sessions on 21 November will tackle the cybersecurity challenges associated with connected mobility systems.

This segment will include prominent international figures in the sector, with content support from Tecnalia, Women4Cyber, and Faconauto, offering strategies to protect data, infrastructure, and privacy from digital threats.

Alongside this track, GMC will also feature an innovation exhibition area with participation from startups in various mobility sectors, including electric charging solutions, mobility apps, workplace mobility services, data management, and cybersecurity.

Additionally, the networking area, supported by Fundación Madrid+D, will offer various activities for attendees, such as a brokerage event for 1-on-1 meetings and a workshop on 20 November morning on data spaces and digitalisation, exploring workplace mobility as a use case and presenting highly technological and digitalised services.

Seven tracks for the seven major challenges of mobility

About Global Mobility Call (GMC)

Organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, with sponsorship and backing from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Global Mobility Call was established in 2022 as a strategic event aimed at positioning Spain as the international hub for sustainable mobility.

In a pivotal post-pandemic recovery context and amid an environment of business development and investment opportunities fostered by the Next Generation EU funds — the largest stimulus ever seen in Europe — and the European Green Deal, the roadmap to making Europe the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050.

With a global outlook, GMC’s third edition, from 19 to 21 November 2024, will bring together leaders from all sectors involved to share their vision on the development of sustainable mobility policies and business initiatives.
