Île-de-France Mobilité (IDFM) confirmed to CATP the continuation of their partnership established since 2018 by entrusting them with the purchase of 3,500 clean buses and coaches for deliveries extending until 2028.
This new order demonstrates the interest of local authorities and their associations in having created their own procurement centre specialized in the acquisition of supplies and services related to mobility.
Indeed, since its establishment in 2011, CATP has not only acquired technical and legal expertise enabling it to optimize purchases but also experience allowing it to manage large-scale projects such as this new order from IDFM.
Through this large order, all CATP members will benefit from the maximum prices negotiated with manufacturers.
Thus, by entrusting its purchases to CATP and thanks to massification, IDFM actively participates in lowering the price of vehicles that will be purchased by local authorities in the coming years via CATP.
