Electra, one of Europe’s leading fast-charging networks for electric vehicles, has launched a strategic partnership with AccorInvest in the Swiss market.
AccorInvest, Europe’s most successful hotel owner, investor, and operator, has signed an agreement with Electra to equip the outdoor car parks of its hotels with high-power charging infrastructure.
Several charging points with a capacity of up to 400 kilowatts are already planned for various hotel locations, with the first chargers set to open early next year.
Both companies have been successfully collaborating in France since 2023 and in Germany since this year.
In these markets, charging stations with a capacity of up to 300 kilowatts have already been installed at a total of 16 locations (over 80 charging points), with additional key locations to follow.
Now, the partners are expanding their collaboration to the Swiss market.

The goal is to offer EV drivers a convenient solution for fast charging.
The charging stations will be available not only to hotel guests but also to private individuals and professional fleets (taxis, Vehicle-to-Grid, logistics, car sharing, etc.), 24 hours a day.
The stations are tailored to meet the needs of the various brands within AccorInvest’s hotel portfolio (ibis, Mercure, Novotel, and others).
Features of the Electra app include navigation to the nearest charging station, station reservations, and an Autocharge option, where app users only need to plug in the cable.
During the charging process, users can access various hotel services, sometimes even at discounted rates.
For corporate fleets, Electra has developed a pricing system in which the unit price decreases as demand increases.
The system also monitors consumption in real-time, provides detailed monthly invoices, and offers the option to reserve time slots for each fleet.
“Expanding our partnership with AccorInvest into the Swiss market is an important milestone and a strong signal for us,” says Alessandro Inderbitzin, General Manager of Electra Switzerland & Austria.
He continues: “This allows us to gain an international partner with locations across Europe while expanding Electra’s national network in Switzerland.”
“We look forward to expanding our collaboration with Electra into new markets and implementing our ambitious electrification approach,” states Mario von Hoesslin, Chief Operations Officer Central Europe at AccorInvest.
“Through this partnership, which aligns perfectly with our ESG strategy, we aim to enhance mobility between our hotels and offer benefits to EV users in Switzerland,” he adds.
