Electrify Commercial, a business unit of Electrify America, and Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp, announced today the opening of Rocky Mountain Power’s first hyper-fast charging (HPC) stations in Millcreek and Vernal.
To support electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Utah, the new stations are part of a broader collaboration to bring 20 charging stations to the Salt Lake area and surrounding communities.
The stations, owned by Rocky Mountain Power, will be featured on Electrify America’s coast-to-coast “locate a charger” map, which includes more than 950 stations and over 4,250 chargers in the United States (U.S.) and Canada.
Electrify Commercial provides industry-leading hyper-fast charging equipment, installation, networking and ongoing operations and maintenance.
Offering speed and convenience for EV drivers, each station is equipped with hyper-fast chargers, capable of speeds up to 350 kilowatts.
Rocky Mountain Power sets the pricing at these charging stations and offers a discounted rate to its utility customers.
Drivers will be able to access and seamlessly pay for charging through the Electrify America mobile app.
