Currently, Hellonext has a presence in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Portugal.

It particularly stands out in the latter country, where it ranks among the top three companies in the fast and ultra-fast charging sector.

Manuel Sande e Castro, the company’s Sales Director, details this during the “Investment Forum for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure,” organized by Mobility Portal Group.

In this context, he reveals: “During 2023, our focus has primarily been on Europe, and now we are considering taking the first steps in other locations.”

The firma is already in negotiations with partners in various countries, driven by the demand they observe in those locations.

Also, they believe that “the challenges they will face will be similar to those we have already addressed in Europe.”

In this regard, they plan to enter the markets of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Iceland, Belgium, Germany, France, and Luxembourg between the end of this year and the beginning of the next.

Always focused on improving the user experience, Sande e Castro emphasizes that one of the biggest inconveniences they may encounter is a charging point that does not function.

This issue is observed frequently in Spain, especially when considering the statistics published by the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC).

These figures reveal that out of the more than 25,000 public access charging points in the country, 8,869 are out of service.

Therefore, Hellonext strives to innovate constantly, with the priority of ensuring reliable and high-quality chargers that avoid problems and remain operational.

Another key focus is on providing products with a simple design, highlighting the incorporation of fast charging.

“Especially because it will change users’ perception when comparing a combustion engine car with an electric one,” says the Sales Director.

Emphasizing that there is considerable reluctance to adopt zero-emission vehicles, mainly because the charging process takes too long.

In this regard, and in line with Hellonext’s strategy of moving towards higher capacities, the company introduces the market to an ultra-fast charging unit.

This is the innovative H2 480 charger, one of the most powerful on the market, with a capacity of 480 kW in a compact format.

This new unit, officially presented in London, offers recharges comparable to those of a combustion vehicle, provided the electric car allows it.

It also enables the simultaneous charging of up to four vehicles, with dynamic power control at each connector.

It incorporates 300A cables with air cooling (or liquid cooling, in the case of optionally using 500A cables).

According to Sande e Castro, to achieve success in the fast charging sector, it is essential that products are designed with scalability in mind.

This involves providing solutions that can expand in the future, “whether in terms of power, the number of charging points, cable amperage, among others.”

This new charger joins the diverse range of fast charging solutions offered by the Portuguese company.

Among them, the Hellonext H2 360 model stands out for its outstanding power and efficiency.

This model can accommodate four simultaneous DC chargers, with an output of up to 360 kW each, equipped with liquid-cooled connectors.

Its structure allows for pantograph charging, suitable for charging at public transportation service stations and commercial fleet managers.

Meanwhile, the standalone chargers H2 90, 120, 150, and 180 offer modular output power from 90 to 180 kW.

Their robust design, based on manageable power modules, allows for easy, flexible, and cost-effective installation in various environments, whether public or private.

Moreover, their water and dust resistance makes them suitable for outdoor use.

It is worth noting that these devices can connect to remote systems to provide real-time information to users.

Finally, the Hellonext H2 60 kW model is a fast charging solution offering simultaneous electric charging output, ensuring maximum power at each plug.

This device stands out for being easy to install and fully customizable to incorporate the client’s brand identity.
