The development of charging points and infrastructure for electrified vehicles (EVs) is a top priority for companies driving sustainable mobility.
Global Mobility Call will showcase the latest innovations in the charging industry through companies and developers promoting key technological solutions and services in the sustainable transformation process.
The largest international sustainable mobility event, organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, will serve as a prime platform to explore cutting-edge proposals developed over the past year to enhance charging infrastructure.
Among the key participants is Alpitronic, which will feature its fast-charging technology aimed at shaping the future of sustainable electric mobility through reliable and efficient infrastructure solutions.
Germany’s chargecloud GmbH will present its modular software platform for managing and billing charging infrastructure, supporting municipal utilities, fleet operators, and e-mobility service providers (EMPs) in advancing their businesses.
Specialised exhibitors like Charge Electra Spain and Chargevite Energy will showcase their expertise in planning and deploying electric charging stations.
Meanwhile, Driveco España will highlight its latest innovations, particularly in universal charging points.
GSS Power will present its active role in promoting electric mobility through efficient and fast-charging solutions designed to minimise environmental impact and foster a cleaner, more sustainable future.
The development of charging points, infrastructure, and systems is a central theme at Global Mobility Call, addressed both by exhibitors in the expo segment and through discussions at the GMC Congress.
These discussions will evaluate the progress in deployment and explore short- and long-term perspectives in achieving these goals.
About Global Mobility Call
Global Mobility Call enjoys the support of Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, along with collaboration from the Madrid Regional Government and Madrid City Council.
Additionally, it is backed by major partners, including public entities and businesses such as the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT), and key national and international trade associations.
This robust institutional and business support underscores the high level of attention and investment focused on achieving safer, cleaner, connected, and inclusive mobility.
Organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub, with sponsorship and support from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Global Mobility Call was launched in 2022 as a strategic event to position Spain as an international hub for sustainable mobility.
The event emerged in a critical post-pandemic recovery context, driven by opportunities created by the Next Generation EU funds—the largest stimulus package ever seen in Europe—and the European Green Deal, the roadmap to making Europe the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050.
With a global perspective, the third edition of GMC will take place from 19 to 21 November 2024 at the Madrid Fairgrounds, bringing together leaders from all sectors to share their vision for the development of sustainable mobility policies and business initiatives.
Mobility Portal Europe will be a media partner at the Global Mobility Call 2024.
